A fifteen-year veteran of the insurance industry, Chris has a broad range of experience. He got his start in 2002 selling property and casualty insurance with GEICO. He added Life and DI to his offerings when he joined State Farm in 2004, and also marketed State Farm bank products—vehicle loans, CDs, credit cards, HELOCs, and checking/savings accounts. Subsequently, he handled specialized group benefits for contractors—group medical, life, DI and prevailing wage benefits.
In 2008, Chris joined Mike Rodman and Advanced Planning Services (APS), the predecessor of Underwriting Services of America (USA), as a junior case manager. He worked his way up through the ranks to Case Manager, Senior Case Manager, Relationship Manager, Senior Relationship Manager, Brokerage Director, and Operations Manager.
Also in 2008, he married his high school sweetheart. He and Monique have two boys—Ethan, age 8 and Cameron, age 6. Chris serves as a baseball coach, and is a volunteer and advocate for Autism Speaks. He enjoys playing sports, watching movies, and taking “staycations” with Monique.
For a short time, Chris left the Rodman organization to serve as the Director of Life Insurance for a firm in Carlsbad, and subsequently worked with SBIA/Carroll Enterprises as the Life Insurance Sales Manager for the Wells Fargo call center. He returned to the Rodman companies early in 2017 to take part in the “quest for world domination” as Business Development Manager of USA, where he is now on the way to revolutionizing term business with USA GoApp.
Bottom line: Chris continues in the business because he believes in life insurance. He has witnessed, first-hand, the benefits of life insurance coverage—and the consequences of not having life insurance on a fallen loved one. Chris enjoys helping agents succeed and building out new ideas and ways to be successful in the brokerage world. Give Chris a call to see how he can help you.
